On March 14 the SHDC held its first workshop in Stockholm with 36 participants from 20 Project partners plus participants from Vinnova, Lund University and KTH.
Participants were mainly from Sweden with a few from Denmark and Norway as well. After an inspirational talk by Docent Max Åhman, Lund University, the workshop kicked-off to identify the most important areas for development of hydrogen use in industry. Contributions and needs of the partners were gathered and discussed, as well time for matchmaking and networking.
The wide range of industries from energy, equipment and system suppliers and developers through to metals and chemicals provided a creative and inspirational milieu. The workshop closed with a presentation from Eric Jensen from Vinnova highlight the success factors for testbeds. The needs for realizing an effective test-bed environment identified at the workshop will be developed in further consultation with the partners and other stakeholders throughout the project.
The next workshop is open to anyone interested and will be held in Lund on 22nd May. The theme is upscaling – going from research to commercialization. For details and registration please visit https://www.swerim.se/en/kalender/shdc2
